Permanent Supportive Housing
N Street Village is now accepting applications from all sources for our permanent supportive housing program, located at our Flagship Location, which offers long-term housing assistance and supportive case management.
Housing Features
- Private rooms within fully furnished shared apartments
- Shared common spaces: kitchen, living room, and bathroom
- On-site laundry facilities
- Residents arrange their own entertainment services, such as cable and WiFi

Supportive Services
- Case Management: On-site support with health, wellness, and personal goals; residents encouraged to meet with case managers twice monthly .
- Daily Meals: Breakfast and lunch are available at Bethany Womens Center
- Health Care: Medical and dental services provided by Unity Health Care at the on-site Wellness Center
- Employment and Benefits Support: Resources available through the Marj and Mak Vocational Center (MMVC)
- Housing Transitions: Assistance with securing long-term affordable housing
Eligibility and Referrals
- Open to women aged 18+; income not required to qualify
- Must be a current resident of Washington, D.C.
Rental Subsidy and Costs
- Most units subsidized by the Local Rent Subsidy Program (LRSP)
- Seven units supported through the Shelter Plus Care Program by The Community Partnership
- Rent is set at 30% of the residents income. However, income is not required.
How to Apply
Prospective clients are required to apply in person at our Flagship Location (1333 N Street, NW), with their:- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Birth certificate
- Social security card
- Bank statement showing the previous six months (if applicable)
- Proof of income (if applicable). For proof of income, documents need to be dated within 30 days and/or six consecutive pay stubs.
